Sometimes, when all my friends from back home meet up, I realise how far away I moved. My two best friends, my boyfriend, his brother and their friends all live within an hour of each other, whereas it costs me in between £20-£60 to undertake the 5 hour train journey back. I miss having people I’d know for years within walking distance of my house.

I do love my uni though.
